Updated 2025 NBA Championship Odds

Check out the table below for the latest NBA Championship 2025 odds, courtesy of Bovada.

Team 2025 NBA Championship Odds Previous Odds
Oklahoma City Thunder +130 +160
Boston Celtics +400 +225
Cleveland Cavaliers +900 +625
Minnesota Timberwolves +950 +1100
New York Knicks +1300 +3000
Indiana Pacers +1400 +3000
Denver Nuggets +1500 +1200
Golden State Warriors +1500 +1400

OKC lost game one against Denver, but the Thunder returned with a fury in their 149-106 blowout win in game two. The Thunder also cruised through their first-round series. SGA and company’s dominance in the postseason has them as a +130 favorite to win the NBA championship this season.

After OKC, the odds fade quickly. Boston, which was listed at +225 after losing game one to New York, is now available at +400 after going down 0-2. Cleveland (+900) and Minnesota (+950) round out the top four in the latest 2025 NBA title odds.

Oklahoma City Thunder (+130)

Every home team lost the opening game in the second round of the 2025 NBA Playoffs. Despite the setback, the Thunder responded in a big way in game two. Their 87-point first half against Denver was the highest-scoring half in NBA playoff history.

After beating the Nuggets by 43 points, OKC’s title odds have shortened from +160 to +130. Their odds may not have moved much, but the rest of the field has fallen significantly further behind the Thunder.

SGA is averaging 29.7 PPG so far this postseason, the most of any playoff left in the playoffs. OKC is also averaging the most points as a team, putting up 124.7 PPG.

Boston Celtics (+400)

The Celtics were the clear favorite in the East at the start of the playoffs. Boston defeated Orlando in round one, cruising to victory in a gentleman’s sweep. Unfortunately for the defending champs, Boston’s luck changed quickly in the second round.

Boston dominated the Knicks this regular season, going 4-0 against New York. The Celtics were heavy favorites as a result for their round two matchup. Despite racking up 20-point leads in both games so far, the Celtics find themselves down 0-2 to the Knicks.

After losing game two, the Celtics’ title odds dropped from +225 to +400. However, Bovada still lists Boston as the +150 favorite to win the East.

Cleveland Cavaliers (+900)

Cleveland entered the postseason as the top team in the East. However, the Cavs have been looking up at Boston on the odds boards all playoffs. Cleveland was listed at +625 in the NBA title odds after losing game one to Indiana.

The Cavs had a chance to move up the board by tying the series against the Pacers. Unfortunately, like the Celtics, Cleveland has found themselves down 0-2 to start the second round.

Cleveland is listed at +380 odds to win the East, the longest of any team remaining in the conference. They are also +155 underdogs to win their series against Indiana.

Minnesota Timberwolves (+950)

Minnesota shocked the Lakers in round one, taking down LeBron and Luka in five games. However, the Timberwolves dropped game one against Golden State in the second round.

Despite the loss, the T-Wolves have improved from +1100 to +950 odds. Minnesota must win four of its next six games against the Warriors to make the conference finals. On the bright side for Timberwolves fans, the Warriors will be without Steph Curry until at least game six.

Curry strained his hamstring in the first half of game one. Minnesota could not overcome the Curry-less Warriors in game one, but they will have the clear advantage in any game where Curry is on the sidelines.

Bovada lists Minnesota as a -210 favorite to win their series against Golden State. The T-Wolves are also available at +375 to win the conference, second only to OKC (-175).

New York Knicks (+1300)

Rounding out the top in the current NBA championship betting odds are the New York Knicks. New York was listed at +3000 odds to win the title. However, since going up 2-0 on Boston, the Knicks’ odds have shortened to +1300.

Their win in game two has improved the Knicks’ win probability from 3.23% to 7.14%.

New York has overcome 20-point deficits in back-to-back games. However, the oddsmakers are not buying into the Knicks just yet.

Despite being up 2-0 on the defending champs, New York is an even-money underdog at secure sportsbooks to win their series against Boston (-120). Those odds could flip dramatically if New York can win one of the next two games at home. Eliminating Boston would shake up the odds for every team remaining in this year’s playoffs.
