WNBA Draft First Overall Pick Odds
Here is an updated look at the latest WNBA first overall pick odds, courtesy of BetUS.
| Prospect | Team | Current Odds |
|---|---|---|
| Awa Fam | Valencia Basket | -150 |
| Azzi Fudd | UConn | +110 |
| Lauren Betts | UCLA | +1000 |
| Olivia Miles | TCU | +1000 |
The Dallas Wings won the draft lottery last year and, to no one’s surprise, selected Paige Bueckers out of UConn. Dallas won the lottery again for the 2026 draft and will have its pick of rookies.
Awa Fam, a 19-year-old Center for Valencia Basket in the Liga Femenina de Baloncesto, is the -150 favorite to be selected first overall. Azzi Fudd, who played with Bueckers at UConn, is a close second at +110 odds.
UCLA’s Lauren Betts and TCU’s Olivia Miles round out the top four at 10-1 odds each. Betts is coming off a championship run with the Bruins, where she won the Most Outstanding Player Award. Miles did not win a college National Championship, but she is a three-time AP All-American.

Top WNBA Draft Prospects to Bet in 2026
Let’s take a closer look at the top contenders for who gets picked first in the WNBA Draft.
Awa Fam (Valencia Basket) (-150)
| Age | Height | Position | PPG | APG | RPG |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 19 | 6’6 | Center | 8.7 | 1.8 | 5.1 |
Awa Fam is only 19 years old, but she has been playing for Valencia Basket since December 2021. She recorded her first professional double-double in just her third career start.
Fam is a 6’6″ Center who averaged 12.2 PPG, 9.5 RPG, and 2.5 APG as part of the Youth National Team in EuroBasket. She has posted an 8.7/5.1/1/8 stat line as a member of the Senior team.
Luisa Geiselsoder started 24 games last year for the Wings, the most of any Center on the roster. However, Geiselsoder was drafted by the Portland Fire in the 2026 WNBA expansion draft.
Fam could do more than just fill the hole left by Geiselsoder’s absence. She is a better scorer and rebounder than Geiselsoder. Jose Fernandez, the new Wings’ coach, is also used to working with international players from his time at USF and could help Fam continue to develop her game.
Azzi Fudd (UConn) (+110)
| Age | Height | Position | PPG | APG | RPG |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 23 | 5’11 | Guard | 14.7 | 2.1 | 2.3 |
Azzi Fudd and Paige Bueckers were a productive duo at UConn, bringing the Huskies a title in 2025. Reuniting the duo could give Dallas one of the WNBA’s best young backcourts.
In their last year together, Fudd averaged 13.6 PPG, 2.0 RPG, and 1.8 APG with Bueckers at UConn. Fudd stepped up her game in her final season, putting up 17.3 PPG, 2.6 RPG, and 3.1 APG.
On the other hand, Dallas already has Arike Ogunbowale. The four-time WNBA All-Star was second on the team in scoring(15.5 PPG) and assists (4.1 APG).
Ogunbowale was arrested on battery charges in March. Her off-court issues aside, the veteran could be a valuable trade piece as Dallas looks to get younger and continue its rebuild. Fudd would help replace Ogunbowale if the latter is moved.
Dallas could also adopt a three-guard system similar to the one the Aces used during their dominant run from 2021-2024.
Lauren Betts (UCLA) (+1000)
| Age | Height | Position | PPG | APG | RPG |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 22 | 6’7 | Center | 14.6 | 1.9 | 7.8 |
Lauren Betts is tied for the third-best odds at +1000 to be the first pick in the latest WNBA draft betting lines. Betts won Most Outstanding Player in the 2026 Women’s March Madness tournament while helping to lead UCLA to its first national title.
Picking Betts would help replace Geiselsoder while adding much-needed size to the Wings’ lineup. Li Yueru is still on the team, but her season ended early last year after she suffered a sprained knee.
Li has averaged 4.8 PPG, 3.6 RPG, and 0.6 APG across 85 career games over four seasons with as many teams.
Betts should easily beat out Li for the starting Center job. She averaged 21.0 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 2.8 blocks during the Bruins’ NCAA tournament run. Betts also won two Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year awards in college.
Olivia Miles (TCU) (+1000)
| Age | Height | Position | PPG | APG | RPG |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 23 | 5’10 | Guard | 15.6 | 6.5 | 6.3 |
The other rookie listed at 10-1 odds is TCU’s Olivia Miles. After five years at Notre Dame, Miles transferred to TCU for her final year of eligibility. Transferring did not help Miles win a title, but she did have an impressive final season in college basketball.
Miles is at her best with the ball in her hands. On the bright side, Bueckers can move well without the ball, so she and Miles should work well together.
As mentioned above, Dallas already has a great backcourt duo with Bueckers and Ogunbowale. Also, if the Wings are going to pick another guard, Fudd could make more sense than Miles, given her history with Bueckers.
Miles had a more productive final year in college than Fudd. However, the Wings know Fudd and Bueckers can play together, while a Bueckers-Miles pairing is purely hypothetical.
The upside for Miles is that she has a higher ceiling. Also, she is a better passer than Fudd and could facilitate the Wings’ offense.

WNBA Draft Betting Strategy: How to Find Value
Use these betting strategy tips to help you succeed when betting on this year’s WNBA Draft.
- Pick the Right Draft Props
- The first pick, a top-five pick, and picks for specific teams are all common props for the WNBA Draft. Before you make a wager, make sure you research specific teams and players to improve your chances of making a winning wager.
- Have a Parlay Strategy
- Parlays can be tricky bets to win. You can maximize your chances of winning by having the right strategy for picking the legs for your parlay. Keeping your parlays small and siding with heavy favorites are the easiest ways to win these wagers.
- Time Your Bets
- When you place your bets can be as important as which bets you place. The odds for the WNBA Draft typically shift 48 hours before the event. You can also live-bet the event with the right sportsbook.
What Are Your WNBA Draft Predictions?
Awa Fam is the -150 favorite and a popular first overall pick in many experts’ WNBA draft predictions. Fam is a talented young player, but I think the Wings will double down on UConn stars and reunite Paige Bueckers with Azzi Fudd (+110).
