2026 World Series of Poker Main Event Finalists

The 2026 World Series of Poker is winding down, but the best is yet to come in this year’s tournament. After more than a week of action, the 9,208-player field has been whittled down to nine. The three-day final table is set to begin in early August.

2026 WSOP Main Event So Far

The Main Event, or the World Series of Poker $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em World Championship, started July 2nd. It is one of the most prestigious poker tournaments in the world. Players were split into four flights to make the 9,208-person field more manageable.

In just over a week, all but nine players have been eliminated from the Main Event.

Many recognizable names failed to make the final cut. Michael Mizrachi, for instance, won last year’s Main Event and claimed his ninth WSOP bracelet earlier this summer. He lasted five days but finished 241st, winning $50,000.

Shaun Deeb, who was announced as a WSOP Hall of Fame finalist this year, also fell short of the final table. Deeb lasted eight days but was eliminated in 15th place, winning over $410,000.

The most surprising elimination was Malcom Taylor, who entered the last day before the final table with the chip lead at over 63.2 million. However, Taylor not only lost the chip lead but also lost his entire stack and was eliminated in 10th place. 

Who are the Finalists in the 2026 WSOP Main Event?

Taylor just missed the cut, but nine other players did enough to qualify for the final table in the 2026 WSOP Main Event:

• Lucas Jumalon (US) – 194 million chips
• Rami Hammoud (Canada) – 79 million chips
• Jamie Shaevel (US) – 56 million chips
• Greg Mueller (Canada) – 48.5 million chips
• Michael Gagliano (US) – 46.5 million chips
• Mario Boos (France) – 44 million chips
• Lauri Saaskilahti (Finland) – 37.5 million chips
• Han Feng (US) – 25 million chips
• Evagoras Evagorou (Cyprus) – 22.5 million chips

Winning the WSOP Main Event is an accomplishment in itself. However, the 9,000+ player field also created a massive prize pot.

The remaining nine players are competing for their share of the $85.6 million prize pool. First place receives a $10 million grand prize. 

When is the WSOP Main Event Final Table?

With the final nine set, the only thing left to do is shuffle up and deal. However, fans and players will have to wait a few weeks to see who wins this year’s Main Event.

The 2026 WSOP Main Event final table begins on August 3rd and will play out over three days at the Paris Las Vegas.
