The Nerd’s Verdict on WWE Money in the Bank 2026
Keep reading for my top WWE Money in the Bank 2026 predictions.
Men’s Money in the Bank Winner
- Verdict: Bet on Bron Breakker
- Best captured price: -200 at BetUS
- Break-even probability: 66.67%
- Target price: -350 or shorter odds
- Primary risk: Breakker’s injuries have slowed his main event push.
- Confidence: High – A healthy Breakker presents a believable challenge for Roman Reigns.
Breakker is the -200 favorite at BetUS to win the Men’s Money in the Bank match on Saturday. Fellow RAW superstar Penta has the next-best odds at +200, suggesting the winner will be from the red brand.
Since his NXT days, Breakker has shown main-event potential. However, untimely injuries have hindered previous attempts to move him up the card. He is healthy now, though, and giving him the MITB briefcase will allow him to skip the line and move into the title picture.
Breakker would likely need to drop the World Tag Team titles, which he holds with 2022 MITB winner Austin Theory, before cashing in. Also, it would mean back-to-back MITB wins for The Vision, as Seth Rollins won this match last year.
On paper, Breakker’s style and build are not ideal for ladder matches. However, fellow powerhouses such as Big E, Brock Lesnar, and Braun Strowman have won MITB before. Potential assistance from other members of The Vision could further cement Breakker as the best bet.
Women’s Money in the Bank Winner
- Verdict: Bet on Lash Legend
- Best captured price: +200 at BetOnline
- Break-even probability: 33.33%
- Target price: Even money or better
- Primary risk: Most of Legend’s success on the main roster has been in tag team competition.
- Confidence: Moderate – The women’s winner will likely come from SmackDown.
The WWE usually splits MITB across brands, so RAW and SmackDown each get a winner. If the men’s winner is from RAW, that indicates the women’s winner will be from the blue brand. So far, every Women’s MITB winner has successfully cashed in and won the title.
Between Chelsea Green and Stephanie Vaquer, Green is the more vulnerable for an MITB cash-in. RAW already has a white-hot feud between Vaquer, Morgan, and Lynch for its title. Green, on the other hand, was a replacement for the injured Rhea Ripley and is unlikely to have a long reign.
Lash Legend has the best odds of any SmackDown wrestler in the Women’s MITB match at +200, according to BetOnline.
In addition to being on the right brand, Legend has all the makings of a MITB winner. She has made a name for herself on SmackDown since moving to the main card. Legend could follow a similar path as Tiffany Stratton, who won MITB and then the title after being called up from NXT.
World Heavyweight Championship
- Verdict: Bet on Roman Reigns to retain
- Best captured price: -1500 at BetOnline
- Break-even probability: 93.75%
- Target price: -2000 or shorter
- Primary risk: The writers could surprise fans by finally giving LA Knight the title.
- Confidence: High – Roman Reigns is unlikely to drop the belt before WrestleMania.
Roman Reigns is also making an appearance at the Smoothie King Center this weekend. He is listed at -1500 to retain his World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight.
Knight is extremely over with the fans and has been for years. However, he has hit a glass ceiling of sorts in recent years. With Reigns tying up belts with his part-time schedule, Knight has rarely had a title match that he had any chance of actually winning.
LA Knight faced Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Crown Jewel 2023 and lost. Unfortunately for all the LA Knight fans out there, this weekend will be more of the same.
Reigns is the most protected superstar in WWE and has lost only three singles matches at PLEs since 2020. The odds of Knight pinning Reigns are next to zero, and the chances of it being a clean finish are even lower. Reigns will win and retain, as usual.
The -1500 odds are not very appetizing, but a Reigns win is a stable leg to add to any parlays you are making this weekend.
Who the Market Picks to Win Money in the Bank
The market’s picks for Money in the Bank 2026 include:
- Bron Breakker wins Men’s MITB match (-200)
- Roxanne Perez wins the women’s MITB match (-250)
- Oba Femi defeats Bronson Reed (-300)
- Roman Reigns (c) retains against LA Knight (-1500)
I agree with the market on three of the matches above, but we disagree on the winner of the women’s MITB match. The market has both winners coming from the same show, RAW, and the writers tend to pick one winner from each.
3 Biggest Factors for Money in the Bank
Here are three factors that will impact the outcome of Saturday’s WWE Money in the Bank.
- Pick Winners from Different Brands – The writers usually pick winners from different brands for events like the Royal Rumble and Money in the Bank. This ensures each brand can benefit from the guaranteed title shots and storylines these types of matches offer.
- The Women’s MITB Winner has a 100% Success Rate – Every streak ends, but so far every women’s MITB winner has successfully cashed in their contract and won a title. So, make sure your winner pick is set up for the push to the top of the card on their respective show.
- Roman Reigns Does Not Lose – Like him or not, Roman Reigns rarely loses, especially in singles matches. If this were WrestleMania, maybe he would put LA Knight over. However, MITB is simply not a big enough PLE for Reigns to drop the belt.
WWE Money in the Bank 2026 Predictions
I agree with odds that Roman Reigns is a prohibitive favorite against LA Knight. However, I think Lash Legend (+200), not Roxane Perez (-250), will win the women’s MITB match this weekend.
