How Horse Race Works

As the name suggests, Horse Race is all about the winning horse. However, instead of real horses, this game features Aces. More precisely, four different-suited Aces start from the left and need to traverse 6 spots to win.
They only move if their suit is drawn from the deck on the right. There are also 5 face-down punishment cards at the bottom. Once all aces reach a column with a punishment card, the punishment card is revealed and the ace of its suit travels one spot to the left.
Types of Wagers
At first glance, DiceLab’s Horse Race card game seems fairly simple. You’re just betting on which Ace (read horse) will win the race. There couldn’t possibly be anything even remotely complicated about that, right?
Well, as we’ve explained earlier, this game features the so-called Punishment rules, which slightly complicate the gameplay. - 3+ in a Row (11:1) – Pays if an Ace moves 3 times without interruption (punishments don’t count)
- 4+ in a Row (47:1) – Pays if an Ace moves 4 times without interruption (punishments don’t count)
- 5+ in a Row (260:1) – Pays if an Ace moves 5 times without interruption (punishments don’t count)

My Experience with Horse Race from DiceLab
I booted up the Demo Mode at Las Atlantis, not expecting much. In fact, I didn’t know what to expect since this wasn’t your typical online slot. Instead, it’s a mixture of a mini game and a card game, with a pinch of “horse racing” sprinkled in.
