Women’s basketball is more popular than ever, and there has never been a better time to wager on WNBA All-Star Game odds. Two of the best women’s players in the world, Caitlin Clark and Napheesa Collier, will captain this year’s teams.
Clark and Collier are leading MVP contenders and drafted their teams of fellow All-Stars to form this year’s teams. Keep reading to see my WNBA best bets for the 2025 All-Star Game.
2025 WNBA All-Star Game Preview
The stars of the WNBA are heading to the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, for the 2025 All-Star Game. Top sports betting sites offer a wide range of exciting markets for the game. So, when is the WNBA All-Star Game, and who is playing in this year’s contest?
Festivities start on July 18th, with the ASG scheduled for July 19th.
Caitlin Clark and Napheesa Collier received the most All-Star Votes. As a result, Clark and Collier were elected as captains for this year’s game and allowed to draft the players for their respective squads.
Here are the starting rosters for the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game.
Team Clark | Team Collier |
---|---|
Caitlin Clark | Napheesa Collier |
Aliyah Boston | Breanna Stewart |
Sabrina Ionescu | Allisha Gray |
A’ja Wilson | Nneka Ogwumike |
Satou Sabally | Paige Bueckers |
Clark and Collier also drafted six reserve players each. Clark picked the following reserve players to add depth to her All-Star team.
- Kelsey Mitchell
- Gabby Williams
- Sonia Citron
- Kiki Iriafen
- Jackie Young
- Kayla Thornton
Collier, who had the first pick of reserve players, chose the following reserves for her team.
- Courtney Williams
- Skyler Diggins
- Angle Reese
- Alyssa Thomas
- Kelsey Plum
- Rhyne Howard
Clark, Ionescu, and Wilson could be a lethal trio. However, Collier’s reserves, which include Angel Reese and Kelsey Plum, could give her team the edge.
WNBA All-Star Odds
Here are the latest WNBA All-Star Game odds, courtesy of Bovada.
Team | Point Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Team Clark | -2.5 (-110) | -140 | Over 234.5 (-110) |
Team Collier | +2.5 (-110) | +120 | Under 234.5 (-110) |
Team Clark is a 2.5-point favorite to win this year’s All-Star Game. They are listed at -140 on the moneyline. Team Collier, on the other hand, is getting 2.5 points and is listed at +120.
The total points for this year’s game are listed at over/under 234.5 points.
Why Is Team Clark Favored?
2.5 points favor Clark and company for this year’s All-Star Game at top WNBA sportsbooks. The second-year phenom received the most All-Star votes and was awarded the first pick in the ASG draft. She used her position to draft experienced players who can shoot the lights out.
Team Clark’s starting lineup includes three of the top seven scorers this season. A’ja Wilson (21.5 PPG), Satou Sabally (19.1 PPG), and Sabrina Ionescu (18.8 PPG) are second, sixth, and seventh in scoring this season, respectively.
Wilson is also third in rebounds with 9.1 RPG. Also, Kelsey Mitchell, one of Clark’s reserve picks, is fifth in scoring with 19.2 PPG. Surrounding Clark with shooters could be deadly as the second-year star is second in the league with 9.0 APG this season.
Can Team Collier Secure the Upset?
Not to be outdone, Collier also has a team loaded with talented players. Collier herself leads the league with 23.6 PPG this season. Her other notable scorers include:
- Kelsey Plum (reserve) – 20.1 PPG (3rd)
- Breanna Stewart – 19.5 PPG (4th)
- Allisha Gray – 18.6 PPG (8th)
- Paige Bueckers – 18.3 PPG (9th)
Having three of the top four scorers in the league should allow Team Collier to keep up with Team Clark. Collier’s squad has plenty of defensive talent, too, including Angel Reese. The controversial former LSU star leads the WNBA with 12.8 RPG.
- Prediction: Team Clark -140
WNBA All-Star Game MVP
- Napheesa Collier (+250)
- Caitlin Clark (+320)
- Sabrina Ionescu (+1100)
- A’ja Wilson (+1100)
- Breanna Stewart (+1200)
Collier is a slight favorite over Clark to win MVP honors. The best basketball sportsbooks list Collier at +250, with Clark a close second at +320.
The odds for MVP of the ASG fade very quickly after the team captains. Clark’s ASG teammates Sabrina Ionescu and A’ja Wilson are tied for the third-best odds at 11-1 each. Breanna Stewart, who Collier drafted with the second pick, has the fifth-best odds at +1200.
Four players are tied for the sixth-best odds. Rhyne Howard, Paige Bueckers, Kelsey Plum, and Allisha Gray are all listed at 22-1 odds to win WNBA All-Star Game MVP.
Napheesa Collier (+250)
Collier was a preseason favorite in WNBA MVP odds, and she has shown out this season. Minnesota’s star forward leads the WNBA with 23.6 PPG so far this season. She is the +250 favorite to win ASG MVP.
If Collier brings her high-level scoring to the ASG, her team can easily pull off the upset. An efficient performance in an upset win should also be enough to win Collier the MVP.
Caitlin Clark (+320)
Unsurprisingly, the other team captain, Caitlin Clark, is listed with the second-best odds. Clark’s three-point shooting is undeniable, but injuries have hindered her production this season.
Also, Clark has attempted fewer shots this season in an attempt to get her teammates involved. Playing more of the traditional point guard role could help her team win, but it will also likely cost Clark any chance of winning ASG MVP.
A’ja Wilson (+1100)
Sabrina Ionescu and A’ja Wilson are tied at 11-1 for the third-best MVP odds for the All-Star Game. Of the two, I think Wilson has the slight edge in winning the award.
Wilson is second in scoring this season and is also third in rebounds. Making an impact on both ends of the court has helped Wilson earn seven All-Star nominations and three regular-season MVPs. Bringing that same effort to this year’s game should help Wilson win her first ASG MVP.
- Prediction: A'ja Wilson +1100
WNBA All-Star Game Scoring Leader
You can also wager on other props for the upcoming WNBA All-Star Game. One of the most popular props for this annual event is to wager on the game’s leading scorer.
BetUS, another secure sports betting site, offers the following odds for the WNBA ASG leading scorer:
- Caitlin Clark (+300)
- Sabrina Ionescu (+350)
- Napheesa Collier (+375)
- A’ja Wilson (+450)
- Breanna Stewart (+700)
- Nneka Ogwumike (+1200)
Clark is the 3-1 favorite to lead the game in scoring. However, she has averaged 16.7 PPG this year, which ranks 15th in the WNBA. Ionescu and Collier round out the top three at +350 and +375, respectively.
As the league’s leading scorer, Collier offers a ton of value in this market. My pick, though, is A’ja Wilson, who is available at +450.
Wilson is one of the top scorers in the WNBA, and Clark is a master at setting up her teammates to score. The Clark-to-Wilson connection will be unstoppable in this year’s All-Star Game.
- Prediction: A'ja Wilson +450
