Rome Odunze Anytime TD Scorer (+120)
Chicago (4-2) can effectively end Baltimore’s season this weekend. The Ravens’ league-worst scoring defense allows 32.3 PPG and is the biggest reason Baltimore is 1-5 this season.
Oddsmakers have the desperate Ravens as heavy favorites for this matchup. For Chicago to secure the upset and get its fifth straight win, the Bears must take advantage of the Ravens’ defensive miscues.
That is great news for Rome Odunze, who leads Chicago in targets (46), receptions (24), and receiving yards (359). He also has five receiving TDs this year and is the only Bears player with multiple receiving touchdowns.
The Bears’ reliance on the second-year receiver and a favorable matchup against Baltimore make Odunze a great anytime TD scorer bet this week at +120 odds.
- Prediction: Rome Odunze anytime TD +120
Cam Skattebo 16+ Carries (+119)
Speaking of young players having breakout seasons, Giants’ rookie Cam Skattebo has become an instant fan favorite in the NFL. Skattebo has 121 touches for 587 scrimmage yards this season, the most yards from scrimmage of any rookie this season.
Skattebo has cemented himself as the RB for the G-Men, and they will need him to produce this week to secure a sweep over the Eagles. When these teams played on TNF in Week 6, Skattebo had 110 total yards and three TDs in the Giants’ 34-17 win.
The Eagles have no choice but to do everything they can to slow down Skattebo. However, he will still get plenty of work this week.
Skattebo is listed at +119 odds to have 16+ carries this week. He has at least 16 carries in each of his last four games. I expect him to get at least 16 carries again this week on the road in Philly.
- Prediction: Cam Skattebo 16+ carries +119
Ja’Marr Chase 10+ Receptions (+154)
Acquiring Joe Flacco could prove to be the move that saves the Bengals’ season in the wake of Joe Burrow’s latest injury. Jake Browning could not win a game as a starter, but Flacco got the Bengals back in the win column with a huge win over the rival Steelers last week.
Cincinnati’s offense with Flacco has not been complicated. Their scheme boils down to one thing: throw to Ja’Marr Chase.
Chase has 26 catches on 35 targets in the two games Flacco has started. He also has 255 receiving yards over the last two weeks. Chase’s production is likely to stay high this week against the winless Jets.
New York has allowed fewer than 200 passing YPG to opposing offenses. However, they also allow 129.3 YPG on the ground, the 10th-most.
Cincy has one of the worst running games in the league, but they use quick passes to Chase to make up for it. That will continue this week, with Chase getting 10+ receptions for the third straight week.
- Prediction: Ja'Marr Chase 10+ receptions +154
Bijan Robinson Scores 2+ TDs (+150)
Another star poised for a massive day on Sunday is Falcons’ running back Bijan Robinson. The third-year RB has 914 scrimmage yards this season, the second-most in the NFL.
Robinson is coming off his worst game of the season, garnering 20 touches for just 92 scrimmage yards against the 49ers. He had 110+ scrimmage yards in each of the previous five games.
The good news for Falcons fans is that Robinson has a great matchup for getting back on track this week. Miami allows an NFL-high 159.3 rushing yards per game.
Robinson should eat early and often in this game. He has scored in four games this year but has not had a multi-TD game so far in 2025. I think Robinson will end that streak this week against the worst rushing defense in the league.
- Prediction: Bijan Robinson scores 2+ TDs +150
Rico Dowdle 60+ Rushing Yards (+114)
Panthers’ running back Rico Dowdle is also a great option for NFL Week 8 prop bets. His streak of 200+ scrimmage yard games ended last week, but Dowdle still led the Panthers in carries (17) and rushing yards (79).
More importantly, Dowdle was far more efficient than Chuba Hubbard, who was playing in his first game back from a calf injury that cost him two games.
Dowdle’s efficiency should earn him the bulk of carries again this week. He will not need that many carries to get 60+ rushing yards against the Bills. Buffalo allows the second-most rushing yards, giving up 156.3 YPG.
The Bills have allowed at least 100 rushing yards to opposing teams in five of their six games this season. Dowdle has averaged over 150 rushing YPG over the last weeks, and he will get at least 60 on the ground this weekend.
- Prediction: Rico Dowdle 60+ rushing yards +114
C.J. Stroud 201+ Passing Yards (-115)
Not every young star has lived up to expectations this season. C.J. Stroud and the Texans’ offense have scored under 20 points in four of their six games this season.
The team’s offensive struggles are a major reason they are 2-4 despite sporting the best scoring defense in the NFL.
Stroud and company have struggled to move the ball and have had an even tougher time finding the endzone. On the bright side, Stroud has managed to throw for 201+ yards in five straight games.
He is listed at -115 to get 201+ yards for the sixth straight game this weekend. At his current odds, Stroud has an implied win probability of 53.49%.
Houston hosts the 49ers this week. San Francisco’s defense has injuries across the board, but it still only allows 216.6 passing yards per game. Even if Stroud and the 49ers’ defense both play their average games, Stroud will cover this prop wager.
- Prediction: CJ Stroud 201+ passing yards -115
Matthew Golden 51+ Receiving Yards (+129)
The final bet on my list of the top NFL player props today is Packers’ receiver Matthew Golden to have 51+ receiving yards.
Golden and the Packers take on the Steelers in Pittsburgh for this week’s SNF game.
Pittsburgh’s defense has allowed 258.8 passing YPG, the second-most in the league. They allowed 40-year-old Joe Flacco to throw for over 340 yards last week. Flacco was the fourth QB to throw for over 250 yards against the Steelers this year.
An uncharacteristically soft passing defense makes Pittsburgh vulnerable in any given week. That is great news for Jordan Love and the Packers, who are still finding their footing this season.
Golden has at least four targets in each of the last four weeks. That is a low bar to hit, but Golden has made the most of his modest workload. He has 50+ receiving yards in three of his last four starts.
The Packers’ rookie is averaging 13.8 yards per reception this year. Golden has a great chance to top 51 receiving yards again this week in prime time.
- Prediction: Matthew Golden 51+ receiving yards +129
