Season 34 Dancing With the Stars Favorites

Whitney Leavitt, Robert Irwin, and Jordan Chiles are the betting favorites to win Dancing With the Stars this season.

Whitney Leavitt (+225)

Whitney Leavitt is one of two stars of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives who will be competing on DWTS this season. She is partnered with Mark Ballas, and the duo is the +225 favorite to win in the latest odds to win Dancing With the Stars.

Leavitt’s choreographed dancing videos were one of the reasons she gained popularity prior to her reality TV career. That “dancing” experience could give Leavitt an edge over many other contestants this season.

Her partner, Ballas, has won three times and made it to the Finals 10 times in his DWTS career. Ballas last won in 2022 when he was partnered with Charli D’Amelio. This is Ballas’s first appearance since that win. 

Robert Irwin (+325)

Son of the legendary Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, Robert Irwin has carried on his father’s work in wildlife conservation. The 21-year-old has plenty of experience in TV, hosting multiple wildlife shows.

Irwin’s experience with wild animals keeps him in shape, but DWTS is a different beast. On the bright side, his likable personality and name recognition should carry him through the first part of the season even if his dancing is not up to snuff.

Carson was a contestant on So You Think You Can Dance in 2012 and joined DWTS as a pro in 2014. She has made the top three six times and won once. Carson finished fifth last season when partnered with former NFL wide receiver Danny Amendola. 

Jordan Chiles (+450)

Rounding out the top three in this season’s DWTS odds is Jordan Chiles (+450). Chiles is an artistic gymnast and won a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. She also won a silver medal in the 2021 Olympics, has three medals at the World Championships, and won five medals at the NCAA Championships.

There is no denying Chiles’ athletic ability, and her skills should give her a significant advantage over many other celebs this season.

Chiles has a lot to live up to as an Olympian. Other Olympians who have competed on DWTS include:

She will be partnered with Ezra Sosa, who made his DWTS pro debut last season. In his first season competing on DWTS, he was paired with Anna Delvey, and the duo finished 13th. Sosa finished sixth on season 16 of So You Think You Can Dance. 

Best Sleepers for Dancing With the Stars this Season

Alix Earle (+850) is another dark horse to consider. She has a massive TikTok following that could help her make a deep run this season. Earle also has the benefit of working with Val Chmerkovskiy, who has made the top three a total of nine times and has won the show three times.

A third sleeper this season is former NBA All-Star Baron Davis (+2200). The 46-year-old played more than a decade in the NBA and scored over 13,000 points in his career. Once a great athlete, Davis is paired with Britt Stewart, who is making her sixth consecutive appearance as a pro.

Olympians, especially gymnasts like Chiles, have historically fared well on DWTS. If she brings the same dedication to the dance floor that made her an Olympic Gold medalist, Chiles should follow in the footsteps of the other Olympians before her and win DWTS.

Chiles had an inexperienced partner, which could derail her winning season. If that does happen, then the door will be open for someone like Alix Earle (+850) to make a deeper run than expected this year. Earle has one of the most experienced and most successful pros on the show, so she is a great sleeper pick this season.
