Mike White Survivor 50 Odds and Predictions

The latest Mike White Survivor 50 odds are out, and the former runner-up is once again a serious contender. After finishing second in Survivor: David vs. Goliath, White returns for season 50 with real win equity on the board.

Below, I break down the current Mike White Survivor betting odds, including his price to win, make the top 10, and finish as the first boot. I’ll also give my prediction on how far he realistically goes this time around.

What Season of Survivor was Mike White on?

The White Lotus writer and director first appeared on season 37 of Survivor, better known as Survivor: David vs. Goliath. Despite not being a physically imposing presence, White’s success in Hollywood landed him on the Goliath tribe.

His Survivor resume is a big reason White is a popular betting option at top Survivor betting sites.

White was on the winning side in nine challenges during his first season. He also won the fire-making challenge, beating Kara Kay, to secure his spot in the Final Tribal Council.

A social player, it is no surprise that most of White’s wins came during the tribe stage. However, he was on the winning side of three reward challenges post-merge and won the Rollerball immunity challenge in the penultimate episode.

White’s biggest alliance in his first season was the aptly named Goliath Alliance. The other members of the alliance during White’s tenure included:

  • Angelina Keeley
  • Kara Kay
  • Alec Merlino
  • Allison Raybould
  • Dan Rengering
  • John Jennigan

Natalia Azoqa was also part of the alliance, but she was eliminated before White Joined. White did not officially join until after the merge; however, he was the only member of the alliance to reach the final three.

Mike White Survivor 50 Outright Winner Odds (+2500)

BetUS has a host of Mike White Survivor season 50 bets, including two ways to bet on White to win the whole season.

In their Mike White specials section, you can bet on White to win at 12-1 odds. There are only three previous winners on the Survivor 50 cast list, so a former runner-up like White should have a major target on his back to start the season.

On the other hand, White’s social skills allowed him to form strong bonds in his previous season. If he uses those skills successfully again, White’s bonds can help him go deep into the game again.

Fans who believe White can win this time should not wager on his outright odds in the Mike white specials section, though. In the general Survivor 50 betting odds markets, White is available at +2500 odds, offering significantly more value.

Mike White to Make the Merge Odds (-125)

Picking a winner before the season starts is easier said than done. Luckily, top entertainment betting sites offer multiple ways to bet on the 50th anniversary season. For instance, White is listed at -125 odds to make the merge.

With 24 players, the most ever, it is challenging to predict when the merge will be. In the New Era, the merge typically happens after the first five or six players have been eliminated, leaving 12 or 13 players in the game.

White’s odds of making the merge will depend on his tribe’s success early in the game. White is starting on the Kalo tribe, which also includes Jonathan Young. During his first season, Survivor 41, Young single-handedly won multiple challenges for his tribe early in the game.

With Young on the tribe, it is unlikely that Kalo is the disaster tribe on season 50, improving White’s odds of making it to the merge.

  • Prediction: Make merge -125

Mike White to Finish Top 10 Odds (+125)

After making the merge, the next goal for White and the other castaways is to make the top 10. White is available at +125 to make the top 10 in the latest Survivor 50 odds.

His current odds imply a 44.44% chance that White will make the top 10.

With a starting cast of 24 castaways, White would need to outwit, outlast, and outplay his way through 14 eliminations. Avoiding tribal altogether is ideal, but White’s social skills will also be key to his ability to make it to the top 10.

  • Prediction: Top 10 +125

Mike White to Finish Top 5 Odds (+200)

The updated Survivor 50 betting odds have White available at +200 odds to make the top five. With the current format, earning a top-five finish usually means making it to the finale.

It is nearly impossible for physical threats to reach the top five in modern Survivor. After the merge, the players designated as challenge beats are typically picked off one by one. This is great news for players like White, who are not challenge threats.

White is also now in his mid-50s, making him even less imposing in challenges. If White keeps his threat level low, he can sneak his way into the final five.

  • Prediction: Top 5 +200

Mike White to Finish Top 3 Odds (+650)

White had to beat his alliance member, Kara Kay, in fire-making to make the top three in his first season. He is listed at +650 odds to earn a spot at the Final Tribal Council again in season 50.

One of the factors fans were allowed to vote on for season 50 was whether there would be a fire-making challenge to determine the final three. The result of that vote has not been disclosed, so there is no guarantee that White, or any other castaway, can count on their fire-making skills to earn their spot in the top three.

White is also a well-known star in Hollywood, especially after the success of White Lotus. His fame could work against him, though, if the other players do not want to vote for someone who is already rich. On the other hand, that makes White the perfect person to take with you until the end because he will be easier to beat.

  • Prediction: Top 3 +650

Mike White First to Find a Hidden Immunity Idol (+800)

Survivor is a popular betting market at sportsbooks, in large part because of the show’s popularity. In a celebration of the fandom, Survivor allowed fans to vote on multiple aspects of the game’s 50th season.

One of the fan-votes revealed was that viewers wanted to keep idols for season 50. That vote quickly turned sour, though, when the Survivor 50 promo revealed some of the idols in season 50 are sponsored by celebrities, including:

  • Billie Eilish
  • Jimmy Fallon
  • Zac Brown

White needs to be the first person to find an idol for this bet. However, after putting a target on his back early in season 37 by looking for an idol day one, I think White will avoid idol hunting to keep his threat level low.

In an interview at SCAD TV Fest, host Jeff Probst also revealed that the Billie Elish Boomerang Idol is found in the first episode. Based on the promo, Rick Devens either finds the idol or is at least on the tribe where it is found.

Devens is starting on the Cila tribe, while White is beginning on the Kalo tribe. With that in mind, I would avoid this bet.

  • Prediction: Mike White does not find the first idol N/A

Mike White to Be First Person Eliminated Odds (+800)

Any returnee who has made deep runs in the past will likely be seen as a threat at the start of season 50. That includes White, who finished second in his first season.

The current Survivor Mike White odds list the actor and director at 8-1 to be the first person eliminated this season.

https://x.com/AMikeBloomType/status/2019490633602195553

As mentioned above, White is starting on the Kalo tribe. His starting tribe also includes:

  • Charlie Davis (season 46)
  • Chrissy Hofbeck (season 35)
  • Coach Wade (seasons 18, 20, 23)
  • Dee Valladares (season 45)
  • Jonathan Young (season 42)
  • Kamilla Karthigesu (season 48)
  • Tiffany Nicole Ervin (season 46)

Young was a challenge beast in his first season, as was season 45 winner Dee Valladares. However, White could be at a disadvantage as five of the other seven members of his tribe are from the New Era.

New School players decimated Old School players on season 40, Winners at War. If it is a similar dynamic this time around, White could be a target the first time his tribe goes to tribal council.

However, the three tribe format reduces White’s odds of going to tribal first. Since only one of the three tribes goes to tribal, White and the rest of the Kalo members simply need to avoid losing the first immunity challenge.

  • Prediction: First eliminated +800
