Top NFL Week 6 Games to Watch
Here are my top games to bet on this week at the top NFL betting sites.
- Dallas Cowboys -3.0 (-110) vs. Carolina Panthers
- Seattle Seahawks vs. Jacksonville Jaguars -1.0 (-110)
- Cincinnati Bengals vs. Green Bay Packers -14.0 (-115)
- Detroit Lions vs. Kansas City Chiefs -2.5 (-112)
- Buffalo Bills -4.0 (-115) vs. Atlanta Falcons
Dallas (2-2-1) and the Panthers (2-3) square off this week in a battle of teams trying to overcome slow starts. The Cowboys are one of the most productive offenses in the league, but Carolina is undefeated at home.
Then, the Seahawks (3-2) look to bounce back from their shootout loss to Tampa Bay with a huge matchup against the Jaguars (4-1) in Jacksonville. The Bengals (2-3) also take on the Packers (2-1-1) as both teams search for their first win since Week 2.
In prime time, the Chiefs, reeling from their fourth loss in their last six games, host the Lions on Sunday Night Football. On Monday, the Bills and Falcons kick off an MNF doubleheader with a must-see matchup in Atlanta.
NFL Week 6 Predictions 2025
Here is a closer look at my top five NFL predictions for Week 6.
Dallas Cowboys -3.0 (-110) vs. Carolina Panthers
Team | Point Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Dallas Cowboys | -3.0 (-110) | -165 | Over 49.5 (-105) |
Carolina Panthers | +3.0 (-110) | +145 | Under 49.5 (-115) |
Dallas finally secured a road win, beating the Jets (0-5) 37-22 in MetLife last week. The Cowboys will try to get to .500 on the road as they take on the Panthers in Carolina this week.
The Panthers (2-3) are undefeated at home, but they are 3.0-point underdogs against Dallas.
Carolina’s defense is allowing 23.8 PPG, but that number drops to 12.0 PPG at home. Of course, their defensive stats are inflated by their 30-0 win over Atlanta in Week 3.
The Panthers do not have a great pass rush and have generated just five sacks this season. However, they are only allowing 204.4 passing YPG. If the Panthers’ defense continues to play well at home, they could hamper the Cowboys’ high-flying offense.
On the other hand, stopping Dallas’s offense is easier said than done. The Cowboys lead the league with 406.6 passing YPG and are fourth at 30.2 PPG.
- Prediction: Cowboys -165
Seattle Seahawks vs. Jacksonville Jaguars -1.0 (-110)
Team | Point Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Seattle Seahawks | +1.0 (-110) | -105 | Over 47.5 (-110) |
Jacksonville Jaguars | -1.0 (-110) | -115 | Under 47.5 (-110) |
Jacksonville, despite its best efforts, did enough to win its MNF showdown with the Chiefs last week. At 4-1, the Jaguars are tied for the best record in the NFL. Staying at the top will be tough this week as Seattle (3-2) comes to town.
The Jags are 1.0-point home favorites for this matchup, but neither team is available at plus money on the moneyline.
Seattle fell short last week, losing 38-35 in a shootout against the Buccaneers. The good news for Seahawks fans is that the team has been better on the road than at home. Seattle is 9-1 in its last 10 road games.
Jacksonville’s questionable coaching decisions and Trevor Lawrence’s struggles nearly cost them on Monday. Their struggles will cost them this week, as Seattle continues its dominance on the road.
- Prediction: Seahawks -105
Cincinnati Bengals vs. Green Bay Packers -14.0 (-115)
Team | Point Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Cincinnati Bengals | +14.0 (-105) | +754 | Over 44.5 (-110) |
Green Bay Packers | -14.0 (-115) | -1200 | Under 44.5 (-110) |
Cincinnati and Green Bay both started the season 2-0, but neither team has won a game since. The Bengals have dropped three straight in the wake of Joe Burrow’s turf toe injury. Green Bay, on the other hand, lost to Cleveland and tied Dallas before its Week 5 bye.
Despite their disappointing performance before their bye, the Packers are 14.0 points favorites this week. Their -1200 odds suggest an implied win probability of 92.31%
Cincy traded for Joe Flacco in an attempt to solve its QB issues. The Bengals still have arguably the worst offensive line in the NFL, though, so whoever is under center will be running for their life this week. Cincinnati’s defense has also been terrible, allowing 31.2 PPG and 391.2 YPG this season.
Green Bay had extra time to prepare for this matchup, too, and should not only win but also cover the 14.0-point spread.
- Prediction: Packers -14 -115
Detroit Lions vs. Kansas City Chiefs -2.5 (-112)
Team | Point Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Detroit Lions | +2.5 (-108) | +117 | Over 52.5 (-110) |
Kansas City Chiefs | -2.5 (-112) | -137 | Under 52.5 (-110) |
In one of the most surprising lines of the week, the Chiefs (2-3) are 2.5-point favorites against the Lions (4-1) this week. For reference, this is Kansas City’s third home game, and they were underdogs at Arrowhead in the previous two games.
The Chiefs lost on MNF last week, so they are technically on a short week for this Sunday Night Football matchup. Detroit, on the other hand, rolled over the Bengals for its fourth straight win.
Since losing Week 1 in Green Bay, the Lions have resumed their role as arguably the best offense in the NFL. Detroit leads the league with 34.8 PPG and is sixth with 365.0 total YPG. The Lions have also scored at least 34 points in each of their last four games.
If Detroit can keep its offense rolling this week, it will take down the Chiefs in Arrowhead this week.
- Prediction: Lions +117
Buffalo Bills -4.0 (-115) vs. Atlanta Falcons
Team | Point Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Buffalo Bills | -4.0 (-115) | -215 | Over 49.5 (-115) |
Atlanta Falcons | +4.0 (-105) | +183 | Under 49.5 (-105) |
Finally, the Bills and Falcons kick off a doubleheader on Monday Night Football. Atlanta (2-2) was on a bye last week, and Buffalo (4-1) is coming off its first loss of the season.
Even with the extra rest, the Falcons are 4.0-point underdogs at home for this MNF matchup.
New England snuffed out the Bills’ rushing attack and held the Bills to just a field goal in the first half. Buffalo will be better this week after their wake-up call in prime time last Sunday.
Atlanta, on the other hand, has been inconsistent this season. Their offense has generated 362.8 YPG this season, but they also lost 30-0 against the Panthers in Week 3. They will have room to run against an overrated Bills’ defense, but the Falcons will lose this game at home.
- Prediction: Bills -4 -115
