The 2026 Oscars odds have made their call. One Battle After Another is sitting at -370 for Best Picture. The book is treating this like a formality. At that price, you’re risking $370 to win $100 on an Academy Awards ceremony that has a long history of surprises.

The 98th Academy Awards are coming up on Sunday, March 15th. If you’re waiting for a better number on the favorite, it’s not coming. But Sinners at +235 is still on the board, and that line tells a different story.

Below are the current odds and my predictions for every major category – where the chalk makes sense, and where there might still be value before Sunday’s deadline.

Best Picture Odds & Prediction

  • One Battle After Another (-370)
  • Sinners (+235)
  • Hamnet (+2800)
  • Marty Supreme (+6000)
  • Sentimental Value (+16000)
  • The Secret Agent (+40000)

One of the most anticipated categories every March is Best Picture. The current favorite to win Best Picture is One Battle After Another, which is listed at -385 in BetOnline’s latest Oscars odds in 2026.

At its current odds, One Battle After Another has an implied win probability of 78.7%.

Sinners is a relatively close second at +235, with Hamnet (+2800) rounding out the top three. The odds fade quickly, but other top betting options include Marty Supreme (+6000), Sentimental Value (+16000), and The Secret Agent (+40000).

Bugonia (+50000), F1: The Movie (+50000), Frankenstein (+50000), and Train Dreams (+60000) are also nominated.

One Battle After Another (-370)

The competition for Best Picture is a two-film race, with One Battle After Another in the lead at -370 odds. The film was inspired by Thomas Pynchon’s 1990 novel Vineland and features a star-studded cast, including:

  • Leonardo DiCaprio
  • Sean Penn
  • Benicio del Toro
  • Regina Hall

One Battle After Another tells the story of “Ghetto” Pat Calhoun, a former member of the revolutionary group the French 75, who is forced back into action. The movie is nominated in 13 categories, including Best Film, Best Actor, Best Casting, and Best Director.

It has already been a successful award season for One Battle After Another, with the film winning multiple BAFTAs, including Best Film, Best Direction, and Best Adapted Screenplay.

Sinners (+235)

The other top contender for Best Picture at this year’s Academy Awards is Sinners, which is listed at +245 odds. Set in the early 1930s, this horror film focuses on twins Elijah “Smoke” and Elias “Stack” Moore, who return to their hometown, Clarksdale, Mississippi.

Elijah and Elias are both played by Michael B. Jordan. The twins attempt to establish a business in their hometown but must battle vampires and, even worse, Jim Crow-era racism.

Joining Jordan in the cast are:

  • Hailee Steinfeld
  • Miles Caton
  • Jack O’Connell
  • Wunmi Mosaku

Like One Battle After Another, Sinners has already won several awards. The movie earned three BAFTAS, including Best Original Screenplay and Best Original Score. It also won four Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, two Grammys, and nine Astra Film Awards.

2026 Best Picture Prediction

One Battle After Another is the odds-on favorite, but Sinners has had the more successful awards season so far. On the other hand, One Battle After Another has beaten Sinners head-to-head for Best Picture at multiple other awards shows, including the Critics’ Choice Awards.

It is a tough call, but I am going with Sinners as my pick for the latest Best Picture odds 2026. The horror film is nominated in 16 categories, three more than One Battle After Another, and offers great payout value if Sinners pulls off the upset.

  • Prediction: Sinners +235

Best Actor & Best Actress Odds

Top entertainment betting sites have exciting markets for other categories, too, including Best Actor and Best Actress. These awards tend to be narrative-driven and offer great chances for upsets.

Best Actor Odds and Picks

  • Michael B. Jordan – Sinners (-110)
  • Timothée Chalamet – Marty Supreme (+100)
  • Leonardo DiCaprio – One Battle After Another (+1100)
  • Wagner Moura – The Secret Agent (+1100)
  • Ethan Hawke – Blue Moon (+2800)

Starring as identical twins, Michael B. Jordan played both male leads in Sinners. After pulling double duty in a top Best Picture nominee, it comes as no surprise that Jordan is the -110 favorite to win Best Actor.

He is closely followed by Timothée Chalamet (Marty Supreme), who is available at +100. Leonardo DiCaprio (One Battle After Another) and Wagner Moura (The Secret Agent) are tied for the third-best odds at +1100 each. Ethan Hawke (Blue Moon) rounds out the nominees at 28-1 odds.

Chalamet’s Marty Supreme is a long shot to win Best Picture, but it does have a higher IMDb rating, 7.8/10, than Sinners (7.5) and One Battle After Another (7.7). Playing the titular role, Chalamet has won Best Actor at multiple award shows for his performance, including the Astra Film Awards, Critics’ Choice Awards, and the Golden Globes.

As good as Chalamet was, Jordan essentially has two entries in this category instead of one. I think Jordan wins Best Actor at this year’s Oscars.

  • Prediction: Michael B. Jordan -110

Best Actress Odds and Predictions

  • Jessie Buckley – Hamnet (-2500)
  • Rose Byrne – If I Had Legs I’d Kick You (+1300)
  • Kate Hudson – Song Sung Blue (+3200)
  • Emma Stone – Bugonia (+4000)
  • Renate Reinsve – Sentimental Value (+7500)

In the Best Actress odds, Jessie Buckley is far and away the favorite at -2500 odds for her performance in Hamnet. Buckley starred as Agnes, the wife of William Shakespeare (Paul Mescal).

After Buckley, the actress with the next-best odds is Rose Byrne. She is listed at 13-1 odds for her role in If I Had Legs I’d Kick You. Despite the odds, Byrne’s performance was widely celebrated, and she won Best Actress in a Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy) at the Golden Globes.

Kate Hudson (Song Sung Blue) rounds out the top three at +3200. Emma Stone (Bugonia, +4000) and Renate Reinsve (Sentimental Value, +7500) are also nominated.

Byrne is a fantastic option if you are looking for underdog value. However, I am picking Buckley to win this category as the heavy favorite.

  • Prediction: Jessie Buckley -2500

Supporting Categories Value Picks

You can bet on dozens of other categories, too, including supporting roles. These markets can often be mispriced, and the odds are swayed by early awards in the circuit.

Best Supporting Actor

  • Sean Penn – One Battle After Another (-325)
  • Stellan Skarsgård – Sentimental Value (+350)
  • Delroy Lindo – Sinners (+500)
  • Benicio del Toro – One Battle After Another (+3300)
  • Jacob Elordi – Frankenstein (+5000)

Sean Penn, who plays the villainous Col. Steven J. Lockjaw in One Battle After Another, is the -325 favorite to win Best Supporting Actor. Penn won the BAFTA for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.

After Penn, Stellan Skarsgård has the next-best odds. Skarsgård is listed at +350 for his role as Gustav Borg in Sentimental Value. This is Skarsgård’s first Oscar nomination, and he won Best Supporting Actor – Drama at the Astra Film Awards.

Penn is not the only nominee from One Battle After Another. Benicio del Toro, who played Sergio St. Carlos, is also nominated, but he is a long shot at 33-1 odds.

Jacob Elordi (Frankenstein) won this category at the Critics’ Choice Awards, and he could offer excellent value at +5000 odds. However, I am sticking with Penn as my Best Supporting Actor prediction.

  • Prediction: Sean Penn -325

Best Supporting Actress

  • Amy Madigan – Weapons (+115)
  • Teyana Taylor – One Battle After Another (+175)
  • Wunmi Mosaku – Sinners (+220)
  • Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas – Sentimental Value (+2000)
  • Elle Fanning – Sentimental Value (+8000)

There is no odds-on favorite in the Best Supporting Actress betting markets. Amy Madigan has the shortest odds at +115.

Madigan is nominated for her role as Gladys Lilly in Weapons. Teyana Taylor, who played Perfidia Beverly Hills in One Battle After Another, is a close second at +175 odds. Wunmi Mosaku (Sinners) rounds out the top three at +220.

Two actresses from Sentimental Value, Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas and Elle Fanning, are also nominated and listed at 20-1 and 80-1 odds, respectively.

Madigan has been the star of Weapons this award season. She has won over a dozen Best Supporting Actress Awards, including at the Astra Film Awards, Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, and the New York Film Critics Circle.

Taylor has been tough competition, though, including beating Madigan for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture at the Golden Globes. Overall, though, Madigan has been more successful this award season, and she will take home her first Oscar this year.

  • Prediction: Amy Madigan +115
