Blake Corum Anytime TD Scorer (+400)
The Rams have one of the best passing attacks in the NFL, led by Matthew Stafford’s league-high 1,684 passing yards. However, LA’s rushing attack has not held up its end of the bargain.
LA has just four rushing scores so far this season. Kyren Williams is the team’s top RB, but second-year rusher Blake Corum has seen an increased workload this season.
The Rams need Corum to step up this week due to injuries elsewhere on the offense. Corum is listed at 4-1 odds to score his second TD of the season this weekend.
Jacksonville’s defense allows 4.1 YPC and has only surrendered four rushing scores this weekend. Corum is also questionable with an ankle injury. If he does play, though, Corum should see extra carries to help make up for Puka Nacua’s absence.
- Prediction: Blake Corum Anytime TD +400
Rashee Rice 1+ TD and KC Wins (+144)
The Chiefs’ struggled to a 3-3 record to start the season, but things are looking up for the three-time defending AFC champions. Xavier Worthy returned from injury three weeks ago, and KC will get Rashee Rice back this week.
Rice was suspended for the first six games, and KC’s passing game struggled. Now that his suspension is over, though, Rice should slide back into his WR1 role for the Chiefs.
The third-year receiver faces an ideal matchup for his return game. KC is favored by more than 12 points this weekend at home against the Raiders (2-4). Las Vegas allows nearly 7.0 YPA and has also given up eight passing TDs this season.
Mahomes has 11 passing TDs this season, including eight to four different receivers. Getting Rice involved this weekend will help KC’s passing game take another step forward and assist the receiver in putting his suspension behind him. Rice will score, and the Chiefs will cruise to a win over the Raiders.
- Prediction: Rashee Rice TD + Chiefs Win +144
Quinshon Judkins 85+ Rushing Yards (-113)
The Browns (1-5) are home favorites this weekend against the Dolphins (1-5). Cleveland’s offense has struggled to produce points this season. Last week, they also struggled to move the ball against the Steelers.
Part of the issue for Cleveland has been its play-calling. The Browns had rookie Dillon Gabriel attempt 52 passes last week.
That style of offense is simply not sustainable for this Browns team. The best way for Cleveland to relieve the pressure on Gabriel is to lean more on fellow rookie, RB Quinshon Judkins. He managed just 3.0 YPC last week, but Judkins’ season average is much higher at 4.6 YPC.
On the bright side, the Browns should have an easier time moving the ball this week against Miami. The Dolphins have the worst rushing defense in the league, giving up 168.5 YPG on the ground.
Taking advantage of the Dolphins’ poor run defense is the best shot Cleveland has at a win this week. With that in mind, I think Judkins will have 85+ rushing yards this weekend against the Dolphins.
- Prediction: Quinshon Judkins 85+ Rushing Yards -113
Daniel Jones 2+ Passing TDs (+108)
Against all odds, Daniel Jones and the Colts lead the NFL in scoring, averaging 32.3 PPG. Jonathan Taylor, who leads the NFL with 603 rushing yards, has been the driving force of Indy’s offense this season.
Taylor is not the only Colts player who is producing stats. Jones has thrown at least two passing TDs in back-to-back games. Add to his impressive start in Indy, Jones has a passer rating of over 100 in five of his six starts this season.
Jones is listed at +108 to have 2+ passing TDs again this weekend.
The Colts face the Chargers in Los Angeles. LA has only allowed five passing TDs this season and has not allowed more than one passing TD in any game this year.
Despite the Chargers’ stout passing defense, Jones has a great shot to throw multiple TDs against LA this week. The Chargers’ rushing defense has struggled this year, giving up over 124 rushing YPG and seven rushing scores.
LA must sell out against the run to have any chance of stopping Taylor. With the defense focused on Taylor, the passing lanes will open up for Jones.
- Prediction: Daniel Jones 2+ Passing TDs +108
Cam Skattebo 65+ Rushing Yards (+125)
Rookie running back Cam Skattebo has played a major role in the Giants’ success recently. Fellow rookie Jaxson Dart took over the starting QB job in Week 4. New York is 2-1 with Dart as the starting QB this season.
Skattebo has five TDs this season, including a three-TD performance last week against the Eagles. He’s also had 21+ touches and 90+ scrimmage yards in three straight games.
Offshore sportsbooks list Skattebo at +125 odds to have 65+ rushing yards this weekend in Denver.
The Broncos have allowed the sixth-fewest rushing yards this season, giving up just 89.0 YPG. However, stopping Skattebo this weekend will be easier said than done. New York played on TNF last week, giving the rookie extra time to rest and prepare for this game.
Also, the Broncos played in London on Sunday, putting them at a distinct rest disadvantage this Sunday. Skattebo will get at least 65 yards on the ground this week against a jet-lagged Broncos’ defense.
- Prediction: Cam Skattebo 65+ Rushing Yards +125
Amon-Ra St. Brown 75+ Receiving Yards (-115)
Detroit’s offense fell flat in prime time in Week 6, and the Lions lost 30-17 to the Chiefs. The Lions face another tough matchup against the visiting Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week.
With their defense once again battling injuries, the Lions’ best hope to win this week is with a bounce-back performance from their offensive stars. That starts with Amon-Ra St. Brown, who managed just 5.0 yards per reception last week.
Prior to last week’s loss, St. Brown was averaging 11.3 YPR. He also has 70+ receiving yards in four of his six games this season.
St. Brown is listed at -115 to have 75+ receiving yards this week. The Bucs allow 231.3 passing YPG, the 12th-most in the NFL.
When these teams played last season, St. Brown racked up 119 receiving yards. He will have another productive game this time around and cover the 75 receiving yards he needs for this prop bet.
- Prediction: Amon-Ra St. Brown 75+ Receiving Yards -115
Nico Collins 1+ TD and HOU Wins (+309)
The final bet on my list of the top NFL player props today is for Texans’ receiver Nico Collins to score a TD and help Houston pull off the upset win over Seattle.
Houston had a bye last week, giving them additional time to prepare for this game. Also, Seattle is just 4-8 at home under Head Coach Mike Macdonald. The Texans have the best scoring defense in the league, giving up just 12.2 PPG this season.
Collins has scored in three of his last four starts. The Texans’ offense has struggled, but Houston made major improvements in its final two games before its bye. If they continue to build on that progress, they can beat the Seahawks this weekend.
- Prediction: Nico Collins TD + Texans Win +309
Prediction: Nico Collins 1+ TD and HOU wins (+309)
