french open odds 2025

The early 2025 French Open odds predict a showdown between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner for this year’s La Coupe des Mousquetaires. This year’s tournament does not start until May 25th, but you can wager on the early odds weeks in advance.

This free guide will analyze the early French Open tennis odds for the 2025 tournament. I will break down the opening odds from top sports betting sites and give my predictions for the winner of this year’s men’s French Open.

French Open Tennis Odds

Player2025 French Open Odds
Carlos Alcaraz+100
Jannik Sinner+250
Novak Djokovic+600
Alexander Zverev+750
Stefanos Tsitsipas+1200
Casper Ruud+1200
Holger Rune+2000
Jack Draper+3000
Daniil Medvedev+3300
Andrey Rublev+3300
Joao Fonseca+3300

Alcaraz is the even-money favorite to win the 2025 Roland-Garros. He is closely followed by Sinner at +250. Sinner won the first grand slam of the season, taking down the field in the Australian Open in January.

Novak Djokovic (+600) and Alexander Zverev (+750) are also listed in the top four. Stefanos Tsitsipas and Casper Ruud round out the top five at 12-1 odds each.

Carlos Alcaraz (+100)

Carlos Alcaraz’s struggles in the Australian Open continued this season, topping out in the quarterfinals for the second straight season. On the bright side, Alcaraz has had plenty of success at other Grand Slams recently.

Alcaraz won the French Open last year. He also defended his Wimbledon crown, bringing his total Grand Slam count to four. The clay courts have been friendly toward Alcaraz, as he has made at least the quarterfinals of the French Open each of the last three years.

In addition to winning this tournament last year, Alcaraz also took down his biggest competition in head-to-head matchups. Alcaraz beat Sinner (+250) in the semifinals and then defeated Zverev (+750) in the finals.

Jannik Sinner (+250)

Jannik Sinner started and ended the 2024 season with Grand Slam titles, winning the 2024 Australian Open and the 2024 US Open. Sinner repeated as the Australian Open champion this year, but his win was overshadowed by controversy.

After testing positive for Clostebol, a PED that is banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency, Sinner received a three-month ban. Tennis legends, including Serena Williams and Novak Djokovic, have heavily criticized the length of the ban and the process surrounding Sinner’s suspension.

His ban ends on May 4th, just in time for the start of the French Open on May 25th. Sinner is listed at +250 to win the French Open in his return to competition. Sinner made it to the semifinals in France last year, the farthest he has advanced in his five career appearances.

Novak Djokovic (+600)

Tennis legend Novak Djokovic has the third-best 2025 French Open betting odds at +600. The veteran has won this event three times before, including 2016, 2021, and 2023. He has won this event before, but the clay courts have made the French Open Djokovic’s worst Grand Slam event.

For reference, Djokovic has won the Australian Open 10 times, Wimbledon seven times, and the US Open four times.

He has struggled to finish, but Djokovic has made at least the quarterfinals at the French Open every year since 2010. Djokovic may have advanced further last year, but he was forced to withdraw due to a knee injury. He also withdrew from this year’s Italian Open, raising concerns for his preparation for France.

Alexander Zverev (+750)

Despite coming tantalizingly close in recent years, Alexander Zverev is still searching for his first Grand Slam win. Zverev lost in the finals of the French Open last year. He was also the runner-up in the 2025 Australian Open.

Zverev’s finals appearance last year came after he was eliminated in the semifinals three straight years. He is available at +750 to get over the hump this year and win his first Grand Slam.

French Open Early Predictions

The second 2025 Grand Slam is right around the corner, and you can bet on your Roland-Garros predictions using the latest French Open tennis betting odds.

It is still a month away, but the favorites have already started to separate from the pack in the opening odds. Carlos Alcaraz is the +100 favorite to continue his dominance on the clay court in France.

Alcaraz has won 86% of his matches in the French Open, his second-highest winning percentage in any Grand Slam. He has the advantage on clay, especially over someone like Sinner, who will be out of rhythm after his suspension.

Sinner is not the only star with questions ahead of the Roland-Garros. Djokovic’s withdrawal from the Italian Open raises plenty of uncertainty around his ability to compete in France. The issues surrounding Sinner and Djokovic could clear the way for Alcaraz to repeat as champion.

2025 French Open Sleeper

Betting on sleepers at secure sports betting sites early on is the best way to lock in value. My top sleeper for this year’s Roland-Garros is Holger Rune (+2000).

Rune has made it to the quarterfinals in two of his three career French Open appearances. He has also won 77% of his matches in this tournament, his highest winning percentage in any Grand Slam.
