Connor McDavid is the +375 favorite to repeat as the NHL playoff MVP. McDavid won the Conn Smythe Trophy last year, despite Edmonton losing in the Stanley Cup Finals to the Florida Panthers.

The Conn Smythe Trophy has historically favored centers and goaltenders. McDavid has the best odds of any center, and Carolina’s Frederik Andersen (+475) has the shortest Conn Smythe Trophy odds of any goalie remaining in this year’s playoffs.

Andersen has the lowest goals against average this postseason, allowing a GAA of 1.36. The next closest is Toronto’s Anthony Stolarz, who allowed a 2.19 GAA before the Maple Leafs were eliminated in round two.
