AEW Double or Nothing features eight thrilling matches for fans to enjoy and bet on. Before digging into the latest AEW betting lines for the event, let’s take a look at the match card for this weekend.
Here are the matches that have been announced for AEW Double or Nothing 2025.
- Jamie Hayter vs. Mercedes Moné
- The Hurt Syndicate (c) vs. The Sons of Texas for the AEW World Tag Team Championships
- Toni Storm (c) vs. Mina Shirakawa for the AEW Women’s World Championship
- FTR vs Daniel Garcia and Nigel McGuinness
- Mark Briscoe vs. Ricochet
- Kenny Omega, Swerve Strickland, Willow Nightingale, and The Opps vs. Death Riders and The Young Bucks
- Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Mike Bailey for the AEW Continental Championship
- Adam Page vs. Will Ospreay
The finals of the Men’s and Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournaments will also crown the number one contenders for the AEW Men’s and Women’s World Championships.
Biggest Storylines for Double or Nothing
With eight matches and over two dozen wrestlers scheduled to appear, there are plenty of storylines for fans to enjoy heading into this PPV.
Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament
The Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournaments will come to an end this weekend. “Hangman” Adam Page faces Will Ospreay in the men’s bracket, and Jamie Hayter will take on Mercedes Moné in the women’s final. The winners will earn shots at the AEW World Championship and the AEW Women’s World Championship, respectively, at All In this July.
Three Title Matches
In addition to two new number one contenders being crowned, there are also three titles on the line this weekend.
The Sons of Texas defeated CRU in a number-one contenders match to earn their AEW World Tag Team Championship match against the Hurt Syndicate. Likewise, Mina Shirakawa won a four-way match to earn her AEW Women’s World Championship match against “Timeless” Toni Storm (c).
Last but not least, Kazuchika Okada will put his AEW Continental Championship on the line against “Speedball” Mike Bailey.
Anarchy in the Arena
The Anarchy in the Arena match will feature 12 wrestlers instead of the usual 10. Adding two additional wrestlers to this hardcore multi-man tag match should make it even more exciting.
This year’s teams will be The Opps (Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata, and Powerhouse Hobbs), Willow Nightingale, Swerve Strickland, and Kenny Omega vs. The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson) and the Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, and Marina Shafir).
Stretcher Match
The feud between Mark Briscoe and Ricochet will also come to a head this weekend. Briscoe and Ricochet have been butting heads since AEW Dynamite Beach Break. After weeks of going back and forth, the two will settle their differences in a stretcher match.
AEW Double or Nothing Betting Odds and Predictions
BetOnline is one of the top sites for All Elite Wrestling fans. At the time of writing, the site has odds for six of the eight matches on AEW Double or Nothing, and the remaining two matches should be posted soon.
Jamie Hayter vs. Mercedes Moné
- Jamie Hayter (+225)
- Mercedes Moné (-350)
The finals of the 2025 Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament will pit Jamie Hayter against Mercedes Moné. Hayter earned her spot by taking down Kris Statlander on Dynamite. Moné defeated Athena at Spring BreakThru to advance to the final round.
BetOnline has Moné listed as the -350 favorite to win this weekend. While not a heavy favorite by wrestling standards, Moné winning is the most likely outcome. It would set up a showdown between Moné and Toni Storm in a champion vs. champion match.
- Prediction: Mercedes Moné -350
The Hurt Syndicate (c) vs. The Sons of Texas
- The Hurt Syndicate (c) (-5000)
- The Sons of Texas (+1200)
The Hurt Syndicate, represented by Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin, will defend their AEW World Tag Team Championship this weekend. They will take on The Sons of Texas: Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara.
Secure sportsbooks have Lashley and Benjamin as -5000 favorites to retain their belts this weekend. I expect Rhodes and Guevara to put up a fight, but they will not dethrone The Hurt Syndicate this weekend.
- Prediction: The Hurt Syndicate -5000
Toni Storm (c) vs. Mina Shirakawa
- Toni Storm (c) (-5000)
- Mina Shirakawa (+1200)
Speaking of -5000 favorites, “Timeless” Toni Storm (c) is heavily favored to retain her AEW Women’s World Championship this weekend. Storm faces Mina Shirakawa (+1200) for the title on Sunday.
Storm (c) and Shirakawa faced off at Forbidden Door last year, with the champion retaining by pinfall. Shirakawa earned her title shot this weekend by pinning Storm on Dynamite.
As I mentioned above, I expect Storm to defend her belt against Mercedes Moné at All In this summer. For that to happen, Storm must prevail against Shirakawa again at Double or Nothing.
- Prediction: Toni Storm -5000
FTR vs Daniel Garcia and Nigel McGuinness
- FTR (-1000)
- Daniel Garcia and Nigel McGuinness (+550)
FTR is also a favorite in the latest AEW betting lines. Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood are listed at -1000 to defeat Daniel Garcia and Nigel McGuinness.
Wheeler and Harwood have attacked multiple members of the roster since flipping heel. Garcia and McGuinness were among FTR’s recent victims. After initially declining the match, McGuinness agreed to this tag match after FTR attacked him and Garcia on the May 17th episode of Collision.
McGuinness has spent more time on commentary than in the ring over the last decade, but he has wrestled multiple times since joining AEW in 2023. He is still searching for his first PPV win in the company, though, and I doubt he gets it this weekend.
- Prediction: FTR -1000
Mark Briscoe vs. Ricochet
- Mark Briscoe (+700)
- Ricochet (-2000)
The Anarchy in the Arena match will be full of carnage, but it is not the only hardcore bout on this weekend’s PPV. Mark Briscoe will take on Ricochet in a stretcher match.
Ricochet is the -2000 favorite over Briscoe (+700) on Sunday.
Briscoe beat Ricochet on Dynamite at the end of April. He then stopped Ricochet from continuing to assault Zach Gowen after their match at Beach Break.
Despite getting the better of Ricochet in recent weeks, I think Briscoe will lose this weekend. The stretcher stipulation adds excitement to this feud, but I doubt it will last much longer after this weekend. Ricochet needs to win to build his reputation as a heel to be feared.
- Prediction: Ricochet -2000
Adam Page vs. Will Ospreay
- Adam Page (+600)
- Will Ospreay (-1500)
Rounding out my AEW Double or Nothing 2025 predictions f is the Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament final. “Hangman” Adam Page faces Will Ospreay in the finals for a shot at the AEW World Championship at All In.
Page took out Kyle Fletcher in the semifinals to earn his spot in this match. The other half of the bracket pitted Ospreay against Konosuke Takeshita at Dynamite: Spring BreakThru. Takeshita put up a fight, but he put Ospreay over in the end.
Ospreay is the -1500 to beat Page (+600) in this match.
Page and current AEW World Champion Jon Moxley have a long history. With that in mind, it is not out of the question for Hangman to pull off the upset.
However, I think Ospreay makes the most sense here. He won the AEW International Championship at this event last year and then lost his first challenge for the AEW World Championship at Forbidden Door 2024.
Nearly a year since his last world title shot, Ospreay is ready for another chance at a main event belt. He will beat Page this Sunday and challenge Moxley at All In.
- Prediction: Will Ospreay -1500
