Best EPL Bets for Week 34

Last week was pretty chaotic. We featured 3 singles, none of which came through. We also featured 2 parlays, only one of which came through. It was the riskier parlay, triggering a sweet +373 win potential.

This time around, we’re going to be playing it a bit safer. We need to get back in the green and we can’t do that without a few winning singles. So, grab yourself a cup of coffee and join us as we analyze the best upcoming bets for EPL Week 34!

EPL Week 33 Results

Here are last week’s EPL results:

• Tottenham 1 – 2 Nottingham Forest
• Leicester 0 – 1 Liverpool

• Ipswich 0 – 4 Arsenal
• Man Utd 0 – 1 Wolves

There were no real surprises last week. The biggest one was Southampton getting a point against West Ham away from home.

But in addition to Week 33 EPL results, two Week 34 matches are already done and dusted. If you haven’t heard already, Manchester City beat Aston Villa 2 – 1 and Arsenal drew 2 – 2 with Crystal Palace.

So, with that out of our way, let’s focus on the best EPL bets for Week 34!

Best EPL Week 34 Singles

In the next few sections, we’ll be analyzing four of the best EPL Week 34 bets. These are singles, mind you, but we’ll have additional parlays (usually two-way parlays) further down the line.

Bet #1: Bournemouth vs. Manchester United: Man Utd to Win (+375)

I just don’t know what’s there left to be said about Manchester United this season. Ruben Amorim’s tactics aside, what is going on with the players’ morale and the team spirit? One week they lose to Nottingham Forest and draw with Manchester City, then go on to clinch Europa League semifinals (and with style) against Lyon… only to go back to the EPL and lose to Wolves. Mind you, they lost to Wolves who’ve conceded 61 goals in 32 matches.

Bournemouth, on the other hand, is enjoying a spectacular season. Not only are they far from the relegation zone, but they’re still in the mix for a spot in a UEFA competition next season. If they can clinch all 3 points against Red Devils (and bookies favor them doing so), they’ll be in touching distance of Aston Villa in 7^th place.

But, then again, it’s Man Utd we’re talking about and, despite this EPL season being done and dusted for them, they still have pride on the line, so I expect Ruben Amorim not to rest too many key players and venture into this one head-first.

At +375, I just couldn’t skip this one. Man Utd to win all the way, baby!

Bet #2: Newcastle vs. Ipswich: Newcastle Handicap -1 (-167)

Newcastle is currently in 5^th, barely clinching onto the final place leading to the Champions League next season. They need every single point until the end of the season, with Chelsea and Aston Villa right behind them, hoping Isak and the co will make a mistake they could exploit.

However, I doubt Newcastle will go through another match like the one they showcased against Aston Villa last time out. For starters, they’re playing against Ipswich who will be relegated if they don’t snatch all 3 points from all remaining games. In other words, Ipswich is already in the Championship so this clash doesn’t really have any competitive value for them.

It does mean a WHOLE LOT to Newcastle, though, so I expect Eddie Howe to field his best 11 and snatch all 3 points with ease. I expect Newcastle to do so with style, just like they did against in their last 2 EPL wins against Crystal Palace and Manchester United.

Bet #3: Liverpool vs. Tottenham: Total Match Goals Over 3.5 (-125)

The winners of 2024/25 EPL season, Liverpool, are up against one of this season’s biggest disappointments – Tottenham. It feels silly to say this, but this clash has no real competitive significance for either of the two teams.

On one end, we have Liverpool who’ve won the title… and on the other end we have Tottenham who are 16^th at the moment, below Man Utd of all teams. But, this is a proper big 6 clash and we know for a fact those tend to have a lot of goals…especially when they’re played in (almost) friendly circumstances.

So, for that reason, I won’t be going into any further discussions here. Total match goals over 3.5 is what I’ll be going with. At -125, it’s the best value in my books. If you think it’s too risky, you can always drop it down a notch and opt for total match goals over 2.5 instead.

Bet #4: Chelsea vs. Everton: Chelsea to Win (-175)

Chelsea is currently in 6^th place that leads to Europa League soccer next season. However, Enzo Maresca’s men have much higher aspirations and dream of the Champions League, though they’ll need to chase away either Man City, Nottingham Forest, or Newcastle to get there.

A big leap in the right direction would be to beat Everton this weekend and finish the matchday with 60 points. Chelsea is unbeaten in 4 with 2 draws and 2 wins, and will do all in their power to clinch all three points.

As for Everton, this season is all wrapped up for them. They managed to escape the relegation zone, but were unable to catch up to the top half of the table. There’s plenty of pride on the line, but I doubt Everton’s lackluster squad depth will have what it takes to defend against Chelsea’s CL aspirations.

So, for that reason, I’ll be going with a straightforward Chelsea moneyline here. Everygame has it for -175, which is quite the value if I may add.

Best EPL Week 34 Parlay Bets

Now that we have the singles all wrapped up, let’s focus our attention onto two additional parlays so we can call it a day!

EPL Parlay #1

• Southampton vs. Fulham: Match Goals Under 3.5 (-227)
• Newcastle vs. Ipswich: Both teams to score and Newcastle to win (+155)
• Total Parlay: +267

The first parlay is the riskier of the two. The first bet within this one is a total match bet for Southampton vs. Fulham. We know for a fact Southampton has been absolutely horrible in attack this season. They’re averaging well below a goal per game. Fulham is slightly better, averaging 1.45 goals per game, so I doubt we’ll see more than 3 goals here. At -227, I’m perfectly fine with the value here.

The second bet is far riskier. It’s a combo for Newcastle vs. Ipswich. I expect Howe’s men to win it and both teams to score. Ipswich are averaging exactly 1 goal per game, whereas Newcastle have conceded 1.33 goals on average. At +155, it’s simple math, right?!

EPL Parlay #2

• Chelsea to Win against Everton (-175)
• Liverpool vs. Tottenham Match Goals Over 2.5 (-303)
• Total Parlay: +109

The second parlay consists of one of our singles – Chelsea to beat Everton. At -175, we have to value Maresca’s tactics and ability to keep Chelsea’s Champions League dreams afloat. They desperately need all three points against Everton, and I for one expect them to win it.

The second part of our parlay is a slightly modified version of our total goals single for Liverpool vs. Tottenham. I thought total match goals over 3.5 was slightly too risky for this parlay, so I pushed it down a notch and went with over 2.5 at -303. This brings the total parlay return to +109, which is solid value considering the bets it consists of.

Those were the best bets for the 34^th English Premier League matchday. As you probably know by now, Liverpool has won the EPL title while Leicester, Southampton and Ipswich (most likely) will be relegated to the Championship.

And while the top and bottom portions of the league are all settled, there’s quite the commotion regarding 2^nd through 7^th position. There are still 9 teams in it, though 7 have realistic chances of doing something in the final 5 matchdays.
