Best EPL Bets for Week 38

Last week was superb! We won all of our singles and 1 of 2 parlays. In fact, the only match we missed was Chelsea vs. Manchester United, where we went with total goals over 2.5, and the match ended with a 1:0 Chelsea win.

Now, we’re looking at the final matchday; the final set of Premier League fixtures that will decide plenty of things. The likes of City, Newcastle, Chelsea, Aston Villa, and Nottingham Forest still have Champions League football up for grabs, and the final matchday will provide us with the answers we’re looking for. EPL Week 37 Results

Here are last week’s EPL results:

Not a lot of surprises happened last weekend. Man City and Arsenal won important 3 points. For Arsenal, those 3 points were enough to clinch the Champions League next season. Man City took a huge leap in the right direction, but still need at least a point from their final EPL clash against Fulham.

Best EPL Final Week Singles

As always, let’s kick today’s final week of EPL predictions off with a few singles. The best ones are as follows:

Bet #1: Southampton vs. Arsenal: Arsenal -1 Handicap (-127)

Let’s start off with a clash whose result has absolutely zero significance for the overall EPL standings. Yep, it’s dead-last Southampton going up against second-place Arsenal. Neither of them can lose or gain anything from this clash, but I reckon we’re still in for a real treat.

Why? Well, Arteta’s Arsenal will want to finish the season off with a majestic performance, and what better way to end it all than with an away stomping of lowly Southampton? Last time out, in October last year, Arsenal won 3-1. This time around, I expect a similar, if not bigger, margin.

The Arsenal moneyline just isn’t valuable enough. However, Arsenal -1 handicap at -127 poses as the perfect opportunity here. So, if you’re looking for a medium-risk single, that’s the bet to pursue!

Bet #2: Nottingham Forest vs. Chelsea: Nottingham Forest to Win (+200)

Nottingham Forest vs. Chelsea is going to be a proper way to finish the 2024/25 EPL season. It’s the clash we’ve all been waiting for. Chelsea is in dire need of winning the clash and qualifying for the Champions League next season. On the other hand, Nottingham Forest has already qualified for a UEFA competition next season but is still in touching distance of the CL.

Forest needs all three points against Chelsea and either Aston Villa or Newcastle to draw or lose their final fixture. If that happens, Nuno Espirito Santo’s men will clinch the Champions League and go down in the history books as the most successful freshly relegated team since Leicester’s 2016 historical triumph.

I for one believe the atmosphere at the City Ground will help Forest clinch all three points. However, I’m not entirely confident they’ll get a spot in the Champions League… but who knows, everything is wide open at this point and it will be interesting to see whether or not Spirito Santo’s men can go down in history books.

At +200, Nottingham Forest to win has tremendous value, so there’s no need to overcomplicate things here.

Bet #3: Newcastle vs. Everton: Total Goals Over 2.5 (-189)

Finally, we have Newcastle going up against Everton. Right off the bat, you should know that this match has absolutely no significance to Everton. Neither did the last 2, but they still won both of them… and with some style, if I may add.

Now, they’re up against Newcastle, which needs three points to clinch Champions League soccer next season. I doubt the Toffees will give up the three points that easily. I expect David Moyes and his men to put up quite the fight against Newcastle. I wouldn’t be surprised if they adopted an attack-minded style of play and did their best to ruin the Magpies’ CL dreams.

However, Newcastle is no pushover! Isak and the co know the gravity of the situation and will play it smart! I can’t tell which way this one is going to go, but what I can tell is that we’re going to see a lot of goals. 3 and more, to be precise. So, at -189, I just had to go with total goals over 2.5 bet here.

Best EPL Final Week Parlay Bets

Now that we’re all wrapped up with the final week’s singles, here’s the last parlay of the season as well:

Parlay #1

• Fulham vs. Man City: Man City to Win (-175)
• Newcastle vs. Everton: Total Goals Over 2.5 (-189)
• Total Parlay: +140

The first and only parlay for the final EPL week of the 2024/25 season features Man City to win and Newcastle and Everton to score over 2.5 goals. Neither of the two bets comes with significant risks. On one end, we have Man City that needs at least 1 point to clinch the Champions League, but considering their recent form and Pep’s mentality, there’s no way City will play for a draw here.

As for Newcastle vs. Everton, Isak and the co need all 3 points to clinch CL, and it’s not going to be an easy task considering Everton is 2 from 2 in their last EPL clashes. We’re going to see quite the goal fest here, and I for one can’t tell which way this one will go.
